Magic Chef 44 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler Features

The two temperature zones may be set to separate levels making one compartment ready for red wine and the other suitable for white wines. Users can store other beverages like beer and soda in addition to wine.

The two compartments are individually sealed with the top storage space big enough for sixteen bottles. The bottom zone holds another twenty-eight bottles.

The cooler is black on the outside with stainless steel trim. The door consists of a stainless steel handle and tempered glass. The interior is black and the included toe kick plate is removable.

The door glass has built in temperature controls which allow the user to set the digital thermostat for a low of 39°F (4°C). The temperature displays in blue through the glass, so it is possible to check the level at a glance.

A partition placed between the dual compartments allows the zones to be kept at different temperatures. Each compartment has a light, display and temperature control button.

Two wire shelves in the upper zone are big enough to accommodate eight bottles each. Bottles go into the racks with alternating necks facing toward the front. The shelves slide out for easy access. The bottom zone has two racks that hold six bottles each with the necks pointing out.

Lighting

The interior light in each zone utilizes energy efficient LED lights. These low intensity lights last a long time and use minimal power. The control pad features a light indicator button for easy on and off.

Setting the Temperature on your Magic Chef 44 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler

The temperature of each zone is displayed prominently at all times. To adjust the temperature, the user simply presses the up or down arrow until the desired setting shows on the display. When the desired setting is reached, the user releases the button and waits while the display flashes for a few seconds. When the number becomes static again, the current zone temperature is displayed and will change as the zone reaches the new temperature.

The user can opt for Celsius or Fahrenheit scale for display. Pressing the down and up arrows simultaneously on the upper zone panel will toggle between the two.
